what tumblr staff and verizon don’t realize is that even with this nsfw content ban, advertisers still aren’t gonna get on board with them because

1) you’re losing a HUGE fuckin chunk of your userbase with this move, so there’s gonna be hardly anyone left to advertise to, and y’all’s stock plummeting is case in point for that

and 2) tumblr’s users in the past have always shown to be completely unaffected by advertisers and corporate blogs, and that’s if we don’t roast the shit out of them and make fun of them all the fuckin time; we’re not like twitter, where a lot of people act like corporate users are their buddies and constantly retweet and interact with their content. the only blog that was ever an exception to this was the Denny’s blog and even that one’s no longer smiled upon because the joke got stale.
